WBMS: in the first 7 months of this year, the global supply of primary aluminum market was 1 million 381 thousand tons short
Data released Wednesday by the world Metal Statistics Bureau (WBMS) on its Web site showed that the global supply of the primary aluminum market was 1 million 381 thousand tonnes in the 1-7 months of this year, with a shortage of 751 thousand tonnes in 2016.
In the first 7 months of this year, the demand for primary aluminium was 35 million 930 thousand tons, an increase of 2 million 222 thousand tons over the same period of 33 million 708 thousand tons. 1-7 months, the original aluminum production increased by 1 million 504 thousand tons.
The total inventory report at the end of July to reduce 2700 tons, 2 million 273 thousand tons, equivalent to 14 days of demand, as of the end of 2016 to 2 million 761 thousand tons.

In the first 7 months of this year, net exports of semi-finished aluminum products were 2 million 312 thousand tons, up from 2 million 155 thousand tons in the same period of last year.
European Union 28 countries aluminum production year by year small increase 0.1%, North American Free Trade Agreement area production drops compared to the same period 2.9%. EU demand for 28 countries increased by 162 thousand tons. Global demand is up 7% year on year.
In July 2017, the world's total output of aluminum was 4 million 845 thousand and 900 tons, and the consumption was 5 million 154 thousand and 600 tons.
