Bahraini aluminum corporation is currently undertaking expansion project of line 6.
In recent days, the company signed a memorandum of understanding with ge to invest in the fourth unit of the gas turbine in bahrain.
The unit applied to general electric's 9HA technology.
The unit will further increase energy efficiency and will consolidate bahrain's position as an environmentally responsible aluminium smelter.

This cutting-edge technology will further promote our vision of the 2030 economic outlook.
The deal was signed by bahrain aluminum CEO Tim Murray and general electric chief financial officer Todd Smith.
The memorandum of understanding was signed at a reception jointly held by the economic development council of bahrain (EDB) with the American chamber of commerce and the bahrain business council in Washington, dc.
