India Government recommends Vedanta to expand alumina production

According to foreign news on November 16th, the India Government Council suggested that the country's Vedanta company expanded alumina production capacity to 6 million tons, and the company's current annual alumina production capacity is about 1 million tons.

The capacity expansion plan is said to cost 993 million dollars.

The company has leased more than 1600 acres of land in the state of Odisha for alumina production expansion.
