The distribution of the world's bauxite resources.
The world is rich in bauxite resources. According to the 2015 data of the U.S. geological survey, the world's bauxite resources are 550-75 billion tons.
The world's proven reserves of bauxite are about 28 billion, mainly in Africa (32%), Oceania (23%), South America and the Caribbean (21%), Asia (18%) and other regions (6%).
From the point of national distribution, bauxite are mainly distributed in guinea, Australia, Brazil, China, Greece, Guyana, India, Indonesia, Jamaica, kazakhstan, Russia, suriname, venezuela, Vietnam and other countries.
Which guinea (proven bauxite reserves of 7.4 billion tons), Australia (proven bauxite reserves of 6.5 billion tons) and Brazil (proven bauxite reserves of 2.6 billion tons) of the three proven reserves accounted for about 60% of the total global level of bauxite's proven reserves.
