1.Product introduction of axle box body aluminum forgings 

The material of the axle box body of the subway:


1, the traditional metro vehicle axle box body usually adopts cast steel. The advantages of cast steel are high strength and good mechanical performance. The drawback is that the quality is large and the quality of the vehicle's reed is high. When the train runs at a high speed, the interaction force of the wheel and rail is big and the wheel and the track are more destructive.

2, the new way is to use the aluminum alloy axle box body: the aluminum alloy instead of the traditional steel medium material, is not only conducive to the heat dissipation of the axle box bearing, but also because it has high elastic deformation, improves the bearing's stress condition, and prolongs the bearing life. The aluminum alloy material is used to reduce the sprung mass of the bogie of the metro vehicle, and improve the wheel rail interaction force, thus improving the running stability of the vehicle.


The aluminum alloy axle box is used for 600 km/hour high speed train , we have mature process and technical art, The tensile and fatigue properties of the 7050 aluminum alloy used for the die forging axle box of high speed train were measured and analyzed. The experimental results showed that the tensile strengths and ductilities of the specimens parallel to extension of metal during forging (L specimen) were higher than that of the specimens perpendicular to the direction of the extension of metal (T specimen) . And the fatigue limit of the specimens parallel to extension of metal during forging (L specimen) )wasσ D=190 Mpa, which was  higher than that of the specimens perpendicular to the direction of the extension of metal (T specimen)i.e., the fatigue limit of the T specimens wasσ D=178.3 MPa. The fracture surface morphology obvervation revealed that the fracture surface of L specimens were dimple, but the fracture surfaces of T specimens were intergranular.
