Properties of 7075 Aluminum Forging

Aluminum 7075 forging has several types of forging. There are several types of exercise for aluminum 7075 forging. Aluminum 7075 forgings are the main alloying elements in this series. Aluminum 7075 forgings have high static strength and are used in fuselage structures and high-stress components. Such as T6, T651, T73, T7351 and T76.

The T6 temper has the highest strength but the lowest toughness and resistance to stress corrosion cracking. Since toughness decreases with decreasing temperature, the T6 temper is not usually recommended for low temperature applications. Compared with the T6 state, the T73 state provides much improved stress corrosion resistance. The intensity dropped. The T76 state has improved peel resistance and limited stress corrosion resistance in the T6 state, and the strength is reduced.
